Morellino di Scansano is one of the great Italian red wines, perhaps once the cousin of Brunello and other big names in Tuscany, but today it has become one of the protagonists of Italian enology.
Born in the hills surrounding the village of Scansano. The grapes that Morellino make it up are 95% Sangiovese and 5% Alicante.
Hot maceration for 12 hours; Followed by fermentation at controlled temperature (max 27 ° C). Aging on fine lees until malolactic fermentation (November).

The excellent taste of Morellino di Scansano is given thanks to a dry and windy climate that allows the grapes to ripen to perfection and to maintain great aromatic finesse.
