San Floriano del Collio, wine's hill
San Floriano del Collio is an Italian town in the province of Gorizia in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
The name Collio means hill, and has always been a perfect soil for the cultivation of wine. The wine area extends through the northern belt of the province of Gorizia, in a territory of 1600 hectares of hillside vineyards in the municipalities of Gorizia, Capriva Del Friuli, Cormòns, Dolegna del Collio, Farra d'Isonzo, Mossa, San Lorenzo Isontino and San Floriano del Collio.
