Valpolicella is named after the local valley in Veneto, that the wine is from. It has a long history and has been made since at least Roman times.

Valpolicella and Amarone utilize the same grapes, Superiore means that are required 14 months of ageing before release.

Tasting notes in few words
Color. Full ruby red.
Aroma. Intense aroms of plums and black small fruits, spicy aromas and a touch of almond.
Taste. Full-bodied, juicy with dark berris and hints of smoke. Lots of mouth-watering acidity.
