Prosecco is a sparkling white wine from north-eastern Italy, specifically the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia wine regions.

The Prosecco DOC covers three styles of wine: still Prosecco, lightly sparkling Prosecco Frizzante and foaming Prosecco Spumante. We are going to taste sparkling Prosecco DOC Extra Dry Calle del Doge produced with charmat method, to preserve the original aromas of the grape, Glera.

Tasting notes in few words
Color. pale straw yellow with golden hue. The bubbles are numerous, good the persistance of the bubble chain.
Aroma. The wine brings citrus, apple, with hints of honey and white floral notes of acacia.
Taste. The flavor is fresh and clean. Light finish, refreshing and crisp.
It is an absolutely refreshing and enjoyable sparkling wine suitable for informal gatherings or that special occasion.
