Capo Ferrato Oasis

Capo Ferrato Oasis

The rocky promontory of Capo Ferrato is the extension of the coastal volcanic massif of Mount Ferru. Located halfway between Muravera and Costa Rei, it is in the southeastern part of Sardinia.
Capo Ferrato marks the boundary between

the northern basaltic beaches, forming a coastline of intense color, and the southern of granite origin that gives rise to golden beaches. You can admire the view of the coast from the coastal tower of Monte Ferru.
Appreciated since antiquity as a natural shelter from the storm, thanks to its fascinating mountainous and coastal landscapes, nowadays is a destination for hikers.
Capo Ferrato is now involved in a project for the preservation and promotion of the sandy coastal strip, which will lead to the creation of a marine protected area and the establishment of ''natural oasis Capo Ferrato".
In this stunning area you can find also vineyards producing extraordinary wines from Cannonau and Vermentino grapes. Imagine sipping a glass of vermentino while looking and this beautiful landscape!
