Moscato is an ancient grape variety, widely cultivated in Italy. In most cases Moscato wine is sweet and bubbly, and intended to be consumed young, while it's still fresh and crispy. Thanks to its typical flavors of peach, apricot, orange blossom and acacia it earned lots of popularity around the world.

Despite in Italy it is often paired with desserts, especially during Christmas feast, there are many others lovely food matching.
As aperitif: poolside or during a picninc, pairs perfectly with fresh salame, like the one produced in Vicenza province, or with Gorgonzola Dolce cheese.
With Spicy asian and indian food: the sweetness and low alcoholicity allows moscato to handle the heat in the food.
Shellfish: with oyster, crabs and scallops.
Desserts: ideal with apples desserts, tarts with fruits, such as raspberry tart, vanilla semifreddo, “cenci” a typical italian fried sweet, flavored with orange and grappa. And many more..!
