A classic tasty recipe of Sicily: Caponata

Ingredients

250 g almonds
6 celery hearts
150 g sultanas
100 g capers
300 g green olives
1/2 glass of vinegar
3 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of bread crumbs
oil, salt

Directions

Cook the celery hearts in salted water, drain.
Cut into small pieces and place in a pan with olive oil, along with the olives, capers and sultanas. Cook for about 10 minutes. Separately prepare the sweet and sour with vinegar and sugar, add the toasted and ground almonds and toasted bread crumbs.
In a plate arranged everything even sprinkle with almonds and raisins. Serve cold.
